Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Mount Namuli is used for livestock grazing (pigs and goats) and is frequently burnt. However, this tufted grass is unlikely to be impacted upon by either livestock or fire. Recently potato farming has begun to take place and is likely to increase. Although potatoes are not cultivated in the peat soil habitat of this species, the associated increase in human settlement poses a potential threat.
