No specific conservation measures targeting this species were found, although the government of Sarawak has pledged protection for all species of orchids. Populations of the species occur within the 1,360,500 hectare Sungai Kayan Sungai Mentarang national park. The taxon can be found at Gunung Mulu National Park, a World Heritage Site, in the interior of Borneo, according to a collection made by Carlo Hansen in 1978.
