Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
This species is only known from Mkungwe Forest Reserve, where intense pit-sawing occurs in the central, eastern and western areas of the forest, with a camp present for the pit-sawers. Bush fires occur yearly that damage the edge of the closed forest. Hunting also occurs (Lovett and Pócs 1993, Doggart et al. 2000). Any threats which result in decreases in canopy cover and dessication of the soil layer would impact this sensitive species.
