There are no recorded threats which are specific to this species. Several collections have been made in more or less protected areas which should provide a level of protection for the habitat. There has, however, been over 3% tree cover loss within the extent of occurrence (EOO) during a 16 year period (GWF 2018). This could be a sign of a decline in the quality of habitat.
