État de la populationExpert
The population of Aerangis divitiflora is currently thought to be decreasing since the species habitat is threatened by forest clearing due to mining activities, and forest degradation by selective logging, fire, timber harvesting for small-scale subsistence, and slash-and-burn practices (tavy). The number of mature individuals of A. divitiflora is not known and cannot be estimated since the species is an epiphyte growing on lower branches of trees in humid forests.

Description complète des menacesExpert
The species experiences a continuing decline in EOO, AOO, habitat extent and quality, number of subpopulations, and number of mature individuals because of habitat destruction due to Mining activities, selective logging, fire, timber harvesting for small-scale subsistence, and tavy (slash-and-burn practice).

Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
Two collections (two occurrences) have been made in two protected areas, the Protected Harmonious Landscape of Alaotra, and the Zombitse-Vohibasia National Park. Individuals from this species have been brought to cultivation in the Ambatovy shadehouse. Ex situ conservation is recommended (micro-propagation, seed banking, and living collections). Aerangis divitiflora should be included in the list of the Malagasy protected species. Further awareness building is recommended for local communities and national authorities. This species is included in Appendix II of CITES but should be in Annex I.
