État de la populationExpert
Considering the low number of collections made of this species, it is likely that the population is small. No individuals could be found in the type locality and the species has recently only been found in Gunung Juita (Ooi et al. 2017).

Description complète des menacesExpert
Forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of being logged and the land converted to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2018). While there is some intact forest in the area where this species was found, a lot of the land has been converted due to urban and agricultural expansion, as well as tourism activities (Ooi et al. 2017, GFW 2018).
