Description complète des menacesTexte détaillé évaluation IUCNExpert
Jengai Forest Reserve is part of the Permanent Reserved Forest network which is managed sustainably for environment and socio-economic purposes (National Forestry Act 1984). The population has a low level of protection under the Act because the forest is a production forest which is subjected to selective logging on a rotation basis and timber harvesting in the near future will inevitably and adversely affect the quality of the forest especially the niche environment where the plants are found.
