Three of the four collections are from Forest Reserves and there are no immediate threats to these sites although the understory may be cleared from time to time in Lentang Forest Reserve (Y.Y. Sam pers. comm. 2019). The forth collection is situated in a location that has undergone urban and agricultural development.
