Description complète des menacesExpert
Malaysia is one of the largest producers of palm oil (Theo 2004), one of the reasons natural habitat is converted. Around 22% of the tree cover within the extent occurrence (EOO) had been lost in 2018 in comparison to 2000 (GFW 2019).

Mesures de conservation recommandéesExpert
This species has been recorded by BGCI (2019) to be grown in four ex situ sites. Sam (2014) has also recorded several collections made from cultivated material. Some collections were made in protected areas such as Taman Negara Pahang (National Park) and Tembat Forest Reserve (Protected Planet 2019, ZRC 2019), in which individuals should be under a level of protection.
