Description complète des menacesExpert
Centuries of logging and cultivation have almost totally eliminated the native pine-oak forests of the Sierra Madre Oriental. Currently, the principal threats to this species include logging, resin extraction and agricultural activities. Selective logging, for the income of residents in the area, is taking place throughout the region. Cattle farming, hunting and road building are additional threats (Valero et al. 2018).
