Description complète des menacesExpert
Malaysia is one of the largest producers of palm oil (Theo 2002), being one of the reasons natural habitat is converted. Lowland areas are especially at risk and sattelite imagery shows signs of land conversion in parts of the extent of occurrence (EOO). This habitat degradation may justify a higher category of extinction risk in the future.
