Forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of being logged and the land converted to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2018). Satellite imagery shows that a large portion of the natural habitat within the extent of occurrence (EOO) has been converted to e.g. agricultural land (GFW 2019).
