Forests of Borneo are under continuous threat of being logged and the land converted to e.g. palm oil plantations (WWF 2018). The individuals and the habitat in the protected areas should stay conserved while satellite imagery (GFW 2018) shows signs of land conversion in large parts of the rest of the extent of occurrence (EOO).
